Worst chess mishaps?

This one time my cousin and I were having a game of chess over his house, my rook took his pawn pretty hard, a little too hard in fact and it flew to the other side of the room, in front of the door. No problem we thought, and kept on playing. Suddenly my uncle/his dad walked in carrying a plate of candles, and slipped on the pawn on the floor, sending the candles flying. A fire broke out and needless to say there was a lot of screaming, a lot of smoke, it was pretty hot too. Much too hot in fact, so I figured I'd try finding a way out. I headed into the kitchen and pushed the fridge in front of the door cause I didn't want the fire to spread in there too. Hopped out the window and got the hell out of there. My mum never found out and I never got grounded. Whew!
