John Lennon
MBTI: ENTP
Enneagram: 7w6 sx/so
Lennon is commonly identified as INFP and INTP, but I'm pretty sure he was an E type who behaved like an introvert as a child and in his older years, probably because of depression.
His humor and style of expression, as well as his arrogant, cynical statements leads me to think NT. He wasn't very comfortable expressing his feelings, and usually resorted to satire like "Yer Blues" and "I'm a Loser"
He finally seemed to develop his inferior and auxiliary functions around Plastic Ono Band
Nice ENTPish quote: "The Beatles are bigger than Jesus!"

Re: John Lennon
Sounds like an extreme slight introvert to me.

Re: John Lennon
Hey take your fallacious switching theories and subtle personalities somewhere else, he clearly remains an extrovert as he slides up through his upper years.

Re: John Lennon
No he doesn't. Being an introvert doesn't make you a recluse, being an introvert means you get your energy recharged by spending time away from people while extraverts do the opposite.
If you actually look at Lennons life you'll see that there's nothing really extraverted about him, in fact this is the one aspect of his personality which there is the least disagreement about. In fact Lennon is one of the celebs that there is the least disagreement about in general.
Probably because he's such an obvious introverted feeler dom. But you've got him running on auxilliary extraverted thinking as an ENTP instead, like really, his whole philosophy which he took very seriously (in itself an Fi sign) is all about people and their right to be loved and individuals..ie it's got the typical Fi product of the mind vibe.
You should also consider the inferior function. In the case of an ENTP it's Si, in the case of an INFP, it's Te. Lennon had the typical signs of inferior Te but few of inferior Si, just like other Fi doms such as Dylan or Thom Yorke. Rather than reclude and shed sentimental light on past events through excessive remembrance, as well as obsessing over ill percieved bodily parts or imagined illnesses, (as Si inferior types are prone to in their weaker moments) Lennon was more prone to points his thorns outwards than inwards:
Te-inferior Types
• Judgments of incompetence
• Aggressive criticism
• Precipitous action
Ie, he bosses people around, gets nitpicky as fuck and obsesses over getting things done and doing them right in a counterproductive way.
The same phenomena can be observed with other Fi Doms such as Dylan or Yorke, and it can be percieved most clearly in their behaviour during recording sessions when they throw their antics.
